i'm sure this has probably been asked and answered, but i was looking at the ez up eclipse II at bj's today....(200 with sides and all 'usual' stuff for the price.......two things....i noticed it said aluminum legs and i see it can be purchased thru ezup company with steel....obviously steel is going to be heavier and likely stronger for the weight, but is the value worth the higher price i would pay thru the company...(they want 300 more for the same tent??????...really??) than to buy at bj's price???......
and then why is the company price SO much higher.....what am i missing here???...seems like the same product best i can tell......thanks in advance.....gary

Steel is certainly heavier but alum will not rust. The alum will be lighter to carry. They are both water resistant and not so good in the rain as the more expensive canopies are. You kind of get what you pay for.
