My wife is an artist and we just started in this business. We also have several friends who are excellent painters but they can't do art festivals. They basically don't have financial resources and physical abilities to work it out. Some of them in their 60s, don't have a car, have language barrier because emigrated to this country 10-20 years ago. But they indeed very good artists. Is there is a way to apply for a good shows as a artist representative? Can I sell somebody else artwork (with all right of doing so of course) at art festival alongside my wife work? Is it possible?

thanks
Eugene

No answers yet?

Bottom Line it's not allowed at any of the shows actually worth doing and your fellow artists will probably turn you in. The concept of art shows is that the public can purchase directly from the creator.

A way around it. The person creating the work has to apply and be accepted and ask to be set up next to you and they have to be there but let you do the physical work.
