Hello all,

This is my first time posting at sunshine artist. In less than 2 months I'm going to be in my 1st art show and have much to do. I knew this would be a lot of work but didn't realize how much I guess.

I'm wondering if anybody knows of a good source for designing my own web site. A program I can buy maybe or a service that is reasonable.

I've built web sites for hundreds of artists using Frontpage. But it's getting difficult to find hosting companies that still support it. At this point I'd look into blogging software. Check out:

Can't edit once posted. I should have added that whatever software you use, make sure to have your images prepared properly before starting. It will save you a lot of time when you're building the site.

Personally I never put images on the web larger than 500 pixels long dimension and add a copyright embedded in each image. And for more accurate color (for jury images also) make sure they are in the sRGB color space.
